I’ve been quite remiss in posting updates recently; but that’s not to say that I haven’t been working in my studio. Here’s a couple of quick shots of the paintings I’ve been working on.
This is the first photo of Megan that I’ve posted. Three or four session in at this point on this one. Normally I like to document my work as I go; not sure why I didn’t want to do that with this one, but here it is at last. Still a ways to go, but I think you get a good sense of where it’s going end up. I still have some choices to make, particularly with the background but I’m pretty happy with how the modeling on the face is coming along.
I spent most of this past weekend working on the painting of Megan, but this one has been worked on recently as well. It’s a larger painting and the image here is (slightly) cropped but it’s starting to come together as well. The scarf is probably the thing that will take the most labor at this point.
