Here’s the latest work on the portrait of Shad. I’m still working out the color of the clothing and had a very chromatic blue in there before that I wasn’t entirely happy with. I glazed over a trans-red oxide to neutralize the chroma and reset the color a bit… now I just need to pick hue and decide how to proceed.
I’m thinking I’ll scumble the lights back in and then go from there. I’m playing a lot with glazing and scumbling in portrait of Tabby as well so if you’re not familiar with those terms then look to the next post.
