I guess a couple weeks have slipped by somehow… Our 9th anniversary was last week! Nolan weighs 13 pounds now. He has been very busy chewing on his fingers and drooling, interspersed with lots of practice standing, wiggling on his back, fussing on his tummy, and sitting up with a little help. He also had another round of vaccinations, which did not make for a pleasant evening. My mom has been requesting new photos, so here are a few:

I was looking at these pictures again and thinking of what a joy this child is! Look at his eyes and his sweet, sweet face and tender heart. I see Jesus in his heart. He knows his heavenly Father. God gave Nolan a soul to be filled with God himself, even before he was born! It is a daunting task to teach a child who the Father is and how to love Him. Teaching a child obedience from his earliest days gives him the ability to hear God’s voice for himself. My prayer is that Nolan’s parents, Julie and Jeremy, seek God’s wisdom in training up this child the way he should go. Uncountable blessings will follow. Mom
